Christmas Time is Here!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Sunday, December 9, 2012

So, we just finished making tons of christmas cookies with my Oma...

And we had leftover chocolate icing.

So I decided to make little chocolate decorations and let them get hard.

A made this partly by fluke:

I can't bring myself to eat it.

I was looking at coffee and sugar art videos (Google it! It's really neat.) and was feeling creative.

Here's one:

Nummy...

A little thing I did a long while ago using my bamboo tablet:

It's Clover and Hickory from the adorable manga Happy Happy Clover. ^.^ Yurp.

So...

The Lindsey Stirling concert was AMAZING. Lidnsey was SO COOL *flail* >w<

*cough* <.< Uh, my grandpa died, so prayer would be great. *cough*

Happy 1st Day of December! =D Christmas is only 24 days away! *partay*
Mum, I want a hamster. *puppy eyes*

Lately (Like, just today and last night) I've had a slight obsession with finding Manga/Anime piano music.
I've found this to be a very handy sight: Ichigo's Sheet Music

Right now I'm playing these two:

Howl's Moving Castle - Merry-Go-Round of Life

Kingdom Hearts - Dearly Beloved

And I found this:

T_T  It's so amazing... <3

So... yurp.

NaNoWriMo... sort of.

Yurp, I'm doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for the first time. I'm not really taking it seriously, doing it mostly just fo an excuse to write. (Fiction writing hardly counts as school for me.) You can read my novel under my page "Short Stories", titled 'Forgotten'. According to an inacurate cut and paste word counter, I have 1523 words. I probably have less, but why would I contradict a word counter? :)
(You didn't read this, but I noticed on the one I use that if you don't use paragraphs you get one more word than if you did use them.)

OYAN is... almost finished. Just a chapter or two to go. Or three... or four...

Oh! And for Halloween I did get that cloak. My mom ended up doing all the work (To hard for a complete beginner like me. And no, I'm not being modest. Just ask BookBlogger. I'm never modest. :P) and it turned out great! On the hay ride it got all dirty though.... <_<

Stepping on the gas

My Novel is almost finished! Just five short chapters to go. I'm trying to finish in time for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I'm going to take it easy and just go with the flow, not making in a HUGE priority to finish. Go ahead, sue me.

Writing tip: For fast writing, set strict date with a goal behind it. (Example: Before November so I can do NaNoWriMo.)

For Halloween, my mom and I are gonna sew a black and red cloak. (Which, now that I think about it, I might have mentioned in my last post.) I just gonna wear comfy black clothes underneath. I'm not specifically anything, but my friend said: "So I guess you're... I cloaked figure."
Sure.

Note: NaNoWriMo.org crashes more than the OYAN forum does.

Halloween...

 is just around the corner!

So I'm going to post some fall-y pictures:

I love this one! <3

This is what happens when your brother twirls a flaming stick and your camera delays.

Our fie. In the BBQ.

This is the best pumpkin I ever carved.

I think I'm a little to old to be anything. (I know what you're thinking: "Growing up is opptional! You're never to old!") But I thin I still want to wear something remotely festive. For instance, a cloak:

like the one Lindsey Stirling is wearing here. ^
Oh, and btw, I'm going to a Lindsey Stirling concert with my dear friend Book Blogger. <3
I can't wait. *flail*
If you don't know who Lindsey Stirling is, search her up! She's a really talented musician.

As for my OYAN, It's still moving along slowly, but I believe only a few weeks of hard work will finish it right up.

School is... school. Nuff said.

Book recommendation(s):

Maximum Ride Series by James Patterson

Howl's Moving Castle, House of many ways, and Dogsbody by Diana Wynne Jones

The Gallagher Girl Series by Ally Carter

The River of Time Series by Lisa T. Bergren

Oh! Along with Book Blogger and some OYANerds (OYAN participants), I went to writing thing hosted by christian writer Bryan Davis. I'm not a big fan of his books, but they're not horrible. (Atleastnotallofthem)
He gave a really good presentation on writing novels.
He used a really awesome metaphor: "You're reader is like a duck.... yes, I said a duck."
He got us to brainstorm a story about a librarian name Ed who worked in a haunted library. (So much fun. <3)
And all around I learned alot and had a great time. (There was even refreshments :)

I've read two and two half of his books.
His violin series was the first I read. I read 1 and 1/2 of it. Let's just say I have no idea how I made it through the first one. It's very dull.
Next I read Starlighter, which, as the book went on, became somewhat interesting and enjoyable. Not the best book I'd ever read, but it was good.
Right now I'm in the middle of reading Raising Dragons, part of Dragons in Our Midst series. (And from what I've gathered, alot of people love the series.)  As it's going on, it's getting a little better, but it's not all unique, new, or exciting. Same old, same old, I think, but it's not half bad.

Well, there's my past few weeks in an acorn.

His name is Humphrey

Yurp. ^.^

Yesterday I wrote about a page and a half of my OYAN. Pretty good. =3

I love this song:

The chorus reminds me of OYANers. Not exactly sure why...

I'm not sure whether to write my next OYAN (Howl of the Silver Moon) in first or third person. I've always wrote it in third person and switched between characters, but I don't think that's entirely necessary. And I'm not sure if I'm better at writing in first or second. I often write fairytale type stories in third person, and I kind of consider this one a fairytale type, but then again, it's not really.
*shrug*

Help me?

Hai!

So today I bought a wittle stuffed dragon at a second hand store, and I need your help to name it!
Here's the little one:

Not my pic.

I'll put a poll at the top of the blog, and it's your job to vote! Or, if you have any name suggestions, comment!

~
EDIT: Okay, so the poll isn't working, so you can just let me know by commenting under this post which you like best:

  • Huphrey
  • Emmy
  • Gayle
  • Loid (My dad came up with this one)
  • Squishy
  • Bobert
  • Plushy
  • Slurpee
  • Sherbert
~

Yup.

And another cool thing, today my grandma wanted us to go through her jewelry and take whatever we wanted, and I found this neat hat pin! Cool or what? Now all I need is a hat to go with it... :P

I just got around twenty books from the library... O.o

Waif Bookmark

I'm re-reading 'House of Many Ways'. It's one of the sequels to 'Howls Moving Castle', one of the best books in the world.

Yesterday I did a little doodle of Waif, a white little dog Charmain (Main character from 'House of Many Ways') finds in Great Uncle William's house.

Waif from 'House of Many Ways'
I liked her so much I just couldn't bring myself to glue it into my sketchbook with all my other strange doodles.
So I use my favorite marker to add shadows:

Waif again. (House of Many Ways)
And drew a cake for Waif (Cause for such a small dog she has a HUGE appetite):
And made a Waif Bookmark with quotes on either side:
What do you think?

If you haven't read Howls Moving Castle, Castle in the Air or House of Many Ways, you are seriously missing out. They're cute story-tale type books dealing with magic, quirky events, and adorable characters. Read them or die of lack of awesomeness.

Just kidding.

(Although, Bookblogger, you have to read them. Or you will die. coughbymywrathcough)

(insert creative title here)

^ Cause I'm totally uncreative like that.

I have finished about 5 chapters of my OYAN. Yup. It's slow. But i have an excuse:

I've been helping out with VBS this week! It's been lots of fun. I have ten kids in my small group-seven boys and three girls. The theme this year is Amazing Wonders Aviation.

Yurp. It's so much fun, but I have to admit I almost can't wait till it's over.

Bookblogger and I watched Journey to the Center of the Earth yesterday. It. Was. Awesome. One of my favorite movies. =3 Josh was as awesome as ever.
I really want to watch Journey 2! (Didjya know that they're comin out with Journey 3 in 2014? Eep. Crazy.)

Trevor: Hey, look at all this Schist!
Sean: What?
Trevor: It's a metamorphic rock. Green schist, white schist, mica-garnet schist...
Sean: Oh. Schist

Sean: Oh, we're in deep schist.
Sean: Rubies...
Hanna: Emeralds...
Trevor: Feldspar...!

*screaming*
*pause*
Trevor: We're still falling!
*screaming*

Sean: Dibs.
Trevor: What?
Sean: I call dibs on the mountain guide.
Trevor: You're thirteen, you can't call dibs.

Hanna: No one gets dibs on the mountain guide.

Sean: That. Was. Awesome. What happened to you guys?

=3 Awesome movie. I've also been spending my week in the neighbors pool. 'Cuase man, it is HOT here.

BTW, If you haven't yet, you have GOT to read the Gallagher Girl Series. Just sayin'.

Sorry about that muddle up there. ^ It wont fix no mater how many spaces I put in it. <.<

I will now finish this post with some quotes from my dad:

Me: Look at that Saint Bernard! Apparently it's mean though.
Dad: Nothing a golf club can't fix.

Me: It's funny how we're called Canada, and the US is called the United States of America.
Dad: Yeah. We should call ourselves the United Provinces of America. Or the United Provinces and Territories of America!

Mom: It's not like the boarder [between Canada and the USA]  is a big red line or anything.
Dad: It's purple.

Whut uuuuuuppp?!

That's what my dad says sometimes. It's really funny when he does it.

Last week, 4/6 of my family visited my grandma. We went to the beach, played card and dice games, ate awesome food, watched TV together, and had tons of fun.

Yurp.

This is an awesome song:

Austin and Ally is an awesome show. =3

My OYAN hasn't been moving since I last posted. But I WILL FINISH IT. I MUST. That's the whole point of OYAN. Pretty much, anyway...

So yup, my life is boring. I have nothing else to post. So, bye!

Mint and Zoey - Chapter 2

I've started the second chapter of Mint and Zoey:

Chapter 2

In which the real adventure starts

Zoey stepped off the ladder and into the attic. Boxes were stacked high beside trunks, old wardrobes, and clothing racks. The large room was fairly well lit. Mint ran to a clothes rack and produced a fuzzy pink boa, wrapping it around her neck and tossing her hair. Zoey chortled.
The attic door slammed closed and he spun around. Crystal leaned against the wall, examining her nails. "I'm curious... What are two were-creatures like you doing way out here?"
"W-what?"
"Come on. I'm not stupid. You can tell me."
"How do I know that?" Zoey narrowed his eyes.
"Because I'm one of you." Crystal smiled. Black ears unfolded from her head and bat wings sprouted from her back.
"No you're not. You're a hybrid." Mint blurted.
"Shush." Zoey put a hand over Mints mouth.
Crystal's tail flicked. "So?"
Mint shrugged.
Zoey plopped down in an old couch, sending dust flying. He coughed. "We're orphans. Our parents were killed by an assassin and we are out for revenge. What's your story?"
Crystal flinched and pain flashed in her eyes. "I appeared, like you, at Madonas doorstep and she took me in."
"Oh." Mint said. "Does Madona know too?"
"Yes. She know about you two too." Crystal blinked rapidly. "Let's find some clothes, okay?"

Mint came down from the attic wearing an old fashioned dress, and Zoey carried a few pairs of jeans and overalls, some shirts, and more clothes for Mint.
Mint twirled gleefully down the hallway. "You have such neat stuff up there!" She said to Madona.
Madona took her hand and twirled her again. "And I'm sure you look pretty in all of it." She chuckled, then turned to Zoey. "What are you going to do for the rest of the day?"
Zoey paused. "Is there any work we can do?"
Madona laughed. "You don't need to do any work. You're guests in this house."
"Well, there's nothing else to do but sit around, and I like to work."
Mint jumped up and down. "I like to too!"
Madona patted her on the head. "Well then, I have lots for you to do."
Zoey and Mint worked all day, and in the evening played cards with Crystal and Madona, laughing, telling jokes, and snacking on Crystals amazing sweets.
"Come sit in my lap." Madona beckoned to Mint. She groaned and chuckled as Mint sat down. "It might help if you were a little smaller."
Mint purred and turned into a cat, curling up in Madona's lap comfortably.
The old woman winked at Zoey and he smiled.

      *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I would like to say that the story ends here, that the four live happy lives together in the mansion, but alas, this chapter is titled "where the real adventure starts," and there is no real adventure in card games, jokes, and cookies. And it is my duty to tell the actual events in the life of  the two orphans, Mint and Zoey.
Mint and Zoey stayed for another happy month of evenings curled up together around the fire place. Crystal never asked about their past again, and they didn't push to learn about hers. All went well until one fateful day.

     *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

And to make this post a little longer, I will post random facts about me:

If I had a pet hamster, I would name it something like Sebastian, Wolfgang, Thorvald, or Vladimir.

I have strange charries: A talking shovel, an evil, split-personality, eight-year-old villain, a vampire, a zombie, like... ten werewolves, and a deformed monster child. Go figure.

I like words like: lamp, waffles, pajamas, ironic, mutilate, oblivious, impale, domain, balloons, etc.

I like to play video games, and I do it a lot. I like the Gamecube console best. I play a series of farming games called Harvest Moon.

I love 'cheesy cookie-cutter pop star' movies. (Like High School Musical 1, 2, and 3, and Camp Rock 1 and 2) Me and BookBlogger love 'em ta death.

If I could go anywhere I would go to Narnia!!!
Or Europe.

I wish toothpaste was edible.

I can't sleep with socks on.

My room is almost ALWAYS organized.

I read while eating breakfast. And unless we're having waffles, I HAVE to eat cereal for breakfast. No toast. My morning is not complete without a bowl of cereal. Or two bowls.

I have an imaginary pet unicorn. Named Thorvald.

Clowns are freaky.

I can't wiggle my eyebrows, but I can wiggle my ears. It's easier for me to wiggle my left ear.

Aquariums are freaky. And I have a fear of large fish.

All my MC's have red hair. Like, all of them.

I love potatoes. Mashed, crashed, nuked, buttered, I love 'em.

If you know what this is from, then comment:
"You have bewitched me, body and soul and I love.... I love you."
I just find that line hilarious....

*I wack you with my unicorn mallet and blow my flugelhorn*

It's so hard to come up with post titles that actually have something to do with your post.

I like this song. Actually, I love it.
Does she have the awesomest clothing or what?

I wanna go shopping at the mall. With BookBlogger. =3

In my title I used a unicorn mallet on you. A unicorn mallet is a mallet in the shape of a unicorn. That should be obvious, but I thought I'd just let you know. Some might think I unicorn mallet is a mallet for hitting unicorns. I have one of those too.

Sometimes unicorns can be so evil. *glares at Thorvald*

Thorvald is my unicorn.

Oh, and flugelhorns do exist, no matter what spell check says. Just look them up on wikipedia.

I drew lots of chibis lately. I think they're pretty good. I drew my family, my Howl of the Silver Moon Charries, The Hulk, Darth Vader, The Joker, the High School Musical cast, Demi Lavato and Joe Jonas from Camp Rock, Ricco and Blu from Rio, aaaaaannd... I think that's it.

Lately my family has been watching an old TV show called Get Smart. It's a hilarious comedy. It's kind of like Inspector Gadget, but it's not.

I've run out of random ramblings, so I'm gonna post this and hope you laugh at some of my lame jokes.

I'm so punny.

Saturday, May 26, 2012

I haven't posted for a pretty long time...

Uh... so...

Do you want to hear about my life?

I'm almost finished school. *woop woop*

I've been drawing alot again. I drew a picture of the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. (No, I'm not obsessed, it's just a coincidence.) And the March Hare, and Alice. (No really. It is.)

Sorry if you can't really see them.

I got this adorable notebook with an owl embroidered on the front for a late birthday present. :3 I love it so much I drew a picture of the owl in my sketch book. And I don't want to write in it in fear of wreaking it's awesomeness.

 .... awesomeness...? That was weird...

I drew a picture of  Roxas from Kingdom Hearts. I really like it, but there's something wrong with his face....

I started pasting little doodles in my sketch book. I drew one little thing of Monster from Beau and the Monster. (I changed Xo to Beau cause I already have a Zoey.) I think he's cute, but my little sister thinks he's creepy. I guess he is though, with his hollow looking eyes and fangs....

I thought this was hilarious when BookBlogger showed it to me:

I just thought it was awesome.

Today my mom was cutting pickles inside the jar because she didn't want to get someones plate slimy, and we all started joking about it. My dad said: "Great going, above average mom!"
Yeah... It was funny at the time.

I started playing one of my old video games again. It's called Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. The game is made a little choppily, (choppily... according to spell check, it's a word.) but it has pretty good graphics for its time, and has a wide variety of things you can do. I'm rich, my son just grew up, and I'm trying to kill my useless goat. Life is good. Or should I say it's 'wonderful'. (Ha ha. I'm so punny.)

I re-wrote the first chapter of my OYAN novel and posted it for y'all to read if ya like. Critiques are gladly excepted. I finally got my fourth chapter going too. (Emphasis on 'finally'.)

I will now finish this post with a random quote from a person on the OYAN forum:
"I laughed my head off the first time I saw it. (Spent the rest of the day with a needle and thread, trying to get it back on. It's not easy.)" -Sauerkraut/Melmo

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

'Jabberwocky', by Lewis Carrol (writer of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland)

I memorized that, and now I'm driving my family nuts by reciting it over and over.
I watched 'Alice in Wonderland' (the newish one with Jonny Depp as the Mad Hatter) for my birthday with bookblogger and my neighbor. It was awesome.

I love the Mad Hatter. His hat is awesome. ("farewell... sweet... hat...")

Cheshire's epic. Totally epic.

I  L. O. V. E. Alice's clothes. I love 'em.

"*sigh* the whole world is falling to pieces and Cheshire is off his tea..."

"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

Cause they both start with 'R'! Duuuuh!

So... yeah.

I was gonna say a million other stuff, but I've forgotten it and I don't have time anyway.

So bi!

Introducing New Charries:

Lately I've been coming up with new charries, (Fun fact: I have forty-five and counting, just for my fantasy stories.) and then giving them a plot. Weird, I know, but it's more fun that way.

I've started liking to write my own little version of horror, with cute, harmless characters and villains. To sum it up, I like taking cute, adorable, likable charries and sticking them in worlds of woe, then giving the story a harmless name. For instance, Mint and Zoey. Or Xo and the Monster. Sounds harmless enough right? :P but they deal with werewolves, vampires, magic, death, etc.

Two nights ago I came up with a new Charrie named Xo. (pronounced zO) He's a zombie. A very cute zombie. He's not the type that limps after screaming people, drooling here, dropping a rotting limb there. He acts like a normal human, but he's.... dead, but alive.

A strange man comes to him one day, taking his soul, and leaving him as nothing but an empty shell. He has no feeling. No hate, no love, just emptiness. A few days later, Xo's best friend, Sebastian (I love that name :) goes missing. Xo decides to go after him and find his soul.

What do you think? Xo's gonna be awesome. (when I actually get to writing this down.) He was inspired by Phillip, from here: Stress Relieving Strips

I also came up with a million other charries, but I'll post about them some other time.

Sprinkles: *blush* D'aww... you shouldn't have!

Aeryn: You're right. We shouldn't have. This was way to much work.

Sprinkles: *glare* <_<

Today's my 14th birthday, as well as PAWS 200th post.
Me and my mom are going to go clothes shopping at the mall (YES! *fistpump*), and we're having pizza, pop, and chips for dinner. Maybe we can even rent a movie.... O.O

Aurum: Can we open presents already?

Sprinkles: *opens presents*
  • From Aeryn: Mallet
  • From Aurum: Punk Unicorn
  • From Solomon: Purple Typewriter
Sprinkles: Thanks you guys! I love them! *hugglesmalletpunkunicorn'npurpletypewriter*

Solomon: 'Welcome! *grin*

Aurum: I got her the best present.

Aeryn: No you didn't. I did.

Solomon: I did!

*punk unicorn grabs mallet and smashed typewriter*

....

Aurum: I told you I did.

Aeryn: Grr...

*punk unicorn runs after the pizza man*

Sprinkles: *headpole* Look what you guys have done.... *scampers after unicorn*

More Movies

A few days ago I watched Camp Rock. It was pretty good. This is my favorite song:

And...

YESTERDAY ME AND BOOK BLOGGER WATCHED THE HUNGER GAMES MOVIE!!!

It was awesome. Katniss was awesome.

Rue was adorable.

And next to them Peeta was my favorite charcter. Most people like Gale better, but Peeta is da bomb!

That was kind of weird. I never use that term. Meh. *shrug*
The movie was very close to the book, just a little more fast paced, and the violence was a little scary. But I would love to watch it again.

My mom mentioned watching The Lorax on Tuesday. I hope we do.

Notice how I actually added pictures to this post?

Movies

A few days ago we watched Spider Man. He's my favorite super hero. (Next comes Batman because he doesn't actually have any superpowers.) The movie was awesome and hilarious at the same time. I've also watched part of the second one, and it was awesome too.

I bought this twirlamathingy for two bucks. It's like a tube that you can bend, and when you spin it, it whistles. But i barely get to use it cause it drives my mom crazy. :(
I'm not exactly sure it was worth two whole bucks... I might've been better off with a chocolate or something....

This is my new favorite High School Musical song:

My Birthday is 14 days away! *fwee* I can't wait. I want to watch The Hunger Games movie for my birthday. I loved the first two books, and I'm gonna read the third as soon as I get it from the library.
I'm also hoping my parents will let me have a hamster for my birthday. My mom said I was allowed a fish, but I still haven't got one yet. :P

Life and such

A little while ago we got a new dirt bike small enough for us kids to ride (All except my little sister.) and yesterday I learned how to ride it! It was lots of fun! I think I might have been panicking most of the time though. 'Cause I kinda felt weird....

I had Book Blogger over on Friday. I was taking care of the animals for the neighbours, so we did the chores in the barn. We also watched High School Musical on Youtube and ate chips and cookies. That night I was constantly brushing crumbs off my bed. :D But I had lots of fun with her.

I got facebook and now I use it all the time. :P Its fun to be able to talk to all your friends.

I have to get off now.

Canned Fruit

I have found that I absolutely love canned fruit. A few minutes ago I lost myself for almost five minutes in a can of diced peaches. I just kind of... stared into the can, eating. Once I finished I realized how stupid I must have looked, just leaning on the counter with a blank expression on my face, eating canned peaches.... I'm glad that no one other than me and my mom like them. And my mom isn't one to take out a can of peaches. So they're mine. *grins maniacally*

I did write something more, but then I read it over and realize that maybe I don't want the whole world to know. Maybe I'll post it later though....

Sometimes I hate making titles.

Maybe I should start doing numbers like Sauerkraut.

Last night my youth had a wii games night. It was pretty fun. But the best part of last night was going to Book Bloggers house and watching High School Musical 3. It was really good. :) The music and dancing was awesome.

My birthday is exactly forty-five days away!!! To me forty-five days sounds shorter than a month and two weeks.

I really need to get my story going. *headunicorn*

I keep forgeting what I want to post...

So that's why I haven't posted for so long. Not that you care. ;P

The most I remember is that I wanted too suggest a few books I've been reading.
 - Princess Ben by Catherine Gilbert Murdock has a wonderful plot.
 - Dragon Slippers and Dragon Flight by Jessica Day George are really good books.
 - The Healers Apprentice is one of my favorite books in the whole world! (Next too Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren)
So yeah. If you can get your hands on these books you have got to read them.

Today our church had a borscht fundraiser for the youths Mexico trip. The borscht was SO GOOD. One of the ladies in the kitchen said that it should be called "fleicsh suppe." (Meat soup [in German]) There was more meat in it than cabbage. I sat with my friends in the gym after the German service. I feel kind of bad about not going to the service though... even though my parents said I could.

For nearly a month my mom has been saying that we would get an eye appointment and I could get contacts. Still hasn't happened. *frustrated sigh* Ah well...

Who here can't wait till the Hunger Games movie comes out?! *waves hand high in the air* What is the date?

Cigarettes are like squirrels. They're not dangerous until you put them in your mouth and light them.

Mint and Zoey - Part 3

Yush!!! Here they are:

Zoey

Mint disappeared into the hall and Zoey stayed behind, wandering aimlessly around the room, trying to get his tears to clear.
He looked in the mirror and scowled at his dirt covered face and greasy hair. He would have to take a shower before anything else.
He found that the on-suite was well kept. As he turned on the water, he tried to remember the last time he had a warm shower. Somehow it escaped him.

After he finished his shower, he went to find Mint. He found her sitting on the floor in front of the huge arm chair, chatting pleasantly with Madona. As he past the kitchen, he peered in to see that the glass shards had been cleaned up, and the cookies were now stored, reachable, in a new jar on the counter.
"Zoey sometimes buys me some candy as a treat when we pass through towns." Mint was saying.
"Well, I've got a jar of candy in the kitchen." Madona offered. "Just don't go climbing on the counters, we don't want you getting hurt." She chuckled.
Zoey grimaced, but came up behind Mint and smiled at the little old lady.
"Good morning." Madona smiled cheerfully.
Zoey nodded. "Thank you for letting us stay."
"You're welcome to stay as long as you like. We don't get many visitors here."
Zoey grinned politely. "I had a map that said that there was a town around here."
The wrinkles in Madona's brow deepened in a frown. "You used the word 'was' correctly. There was a town only a short walk from here, but all that's left of it are empty foundations."
"What happened?"
Madona settled her small, bent frame deeper into her huge plush chair. "Oh, people decided it was too far away from the rest of civilization and soon moved away. Soon, the only person left was me."
"What about your husband?" Mint blurted.
"Shtt!" Zoey warned her.
Madona smiled sadly. "He died years before in a mining accident."
"How did you make it, here all alone?" Zoey asked.
"My daughter arranged for a truck to come once a month with supplies, and a butler and maid to assist me."
"What happened to them?" Mint asked, certainly curious.
Madona chortled. "They got old, like me! Except they left as soon as Crystal showed up a few years ago." She smiled sadly. "I'll leave her to tell you about that though."
Crystal walked in.
Madona lifted he hands and brought them down on her knees, leaning forward. "You two could use some new clothes. I tell you what: Crystal will take you too the attic and you can look for some clothes. I'm sure I have something useful us there. You can keep just about anything else interesting you find up there."
Crystal walked towards the kitchen without a word and Mint galloped after her. Zoey started to follow.
"Zoey..." Madona peered around the crimson back of the arm chair.
"Yes?" Zoey asked, stopping mid-stride.
Madona paused, as if considering something, then said, "Stay as long as you can."
"We will."

I love them both so much! *huggles Mint and Zoey* What do you thunk?

*psst!* You wanna know a secret?

Highlight this:

Zoey is Lilys son! (not gonna tell ya who his dad is though >:D) Therefore, this is the sequal to Howl of the Silver Moon.

Today I spent over half an hour singing all the veggie tales song I could remember. Fun fun. :P

You can read what I have of my OYAN Novel right now. I was to lazy to not post it. Lucky you.

Random fact: I named my white board magnets Sebbie and he dresses up differently every day! (The magnets are his eyes) Today I drew him as a dork.

I'm gonna get a root canal!!! Just kidding.

I'm finally getting my story going

And while I'm doing it I'm listening to old music.  It's fun! ^.^ I kinda feel like laughing...

"Money Money Money! Must be funny! In a rich man world!"

I got a random hair tip for you:

Change shampoos.

It's that simple. If you change your type of shampoo every once in a while, your hair will turn out better after a shower. At least, it does for me. It might depend on your hair.

I bought a file on my little bros computer game MineCraft for 6 bucks. It's fun. The world is made out of blocks and you can build just about anything.
I'm building what I think the world of Ingary (from Howl's Moving Castle) looks like. I've built Howl's Castle already, but it's missing a bath room...
And I don't know how I'm gonna do turnip head... (he's a scarecrow.)

I really need to get my OYAN going...

I know I should post...

But I don't know about what..?

Yesterday my mom juiced oranges, apples, banana, carrots, and beets. It was good until she added the carrots and beets. Then it was just... belch.

I finished my second chapter of OYAN a few weeks ago. I think it was before Christmas. Did I yap about that already. I think I did. I'm gonna start chapter three after I do part three of Mint and Zoey, which you can find under my 'Short Stories' page, along with my other stories in the making.
I notice none of my short stories would be that short (if I finished them). I pretty much call them short stories cause they're the stories I have beside the main stories I have going.

*shrug*

I've been reading 'Castle in the Air' and 'House of Many Ways', by Diana Wynne Jones, sequels to 'Howl's Moving Castle'.
Have I mentioned 'Howl's Moving Castle' before? I'm pretty sure I have. It's a really good book. You should read it if you can get your hands on it.
If you want to know what it's about, search it on wikipedia. I'm to lazy to type out a book review.
'Castle in the Air' is the sequel to 'Howl's Moving Castle'. It's the worst of the three. But it's good enough for me to still enjoy it enormously.
'House of Many Ways' is better, and it's hilarious! Twinkle made me laugh SO HARD. (Silently, of course, as not to make my family wonder about my sanity.)
"I am not naughty! I wath vewwy fwightenend, I tell you!"

*rofl*

Anyways, I think I came up with a satisfactory amount of information, don't you? I'm off to watch MacGyver with my big bro. My dad's at work and my mom, little bro and sis are at the zoo.

Me and my big bro sure get along better when we're alone. Best buds, we are.

@Maddy: Hard to believe, I know.

I nearly died today... :)

And...... I'm gonna hold you in suspence and point something out to my dear friend the BookBlogger:

There is a difference between THE Sims and MY sims. (besides the fact that they're made by the same company and have the same gem trademark.)

THE Sims is like this:

And MY Sims is like this:

As you can see, My Sims is way cuter.

Anyway, to the fact about my near death.

I went skiing today with my friends and their dad. We had tons of fun. For the ride home my friends dad bought a bag of Pork Rinds (Do tell me, what the heck are pork rinds???). We hadn't even got out of the skiing area, when he had a coughing fit (from the pork rinds (Do tell me, what are pork rinds???)), swerved to the right, then to the left, spun sideways, and got the car lodged in a snow drift.

...

I think I scared some people on the writing forum with my status update...

oopseydasies...

I changed my profile picture again. I don't know. I guess I just can't stand having something the same all the time. Don't remember me by my picture, or you wont remember me.

Got to go, or else I would post longer. Bye. I'm alive. And I hope you are too.
